You should check the full operating function of the convertible top including the condition. indiction of water leak
Other than that, one is looking at common items associated with a used car
1. Should be no current or pending fault codes.
2. Operate everything, windows/mirrors/radio/AC control etc. etc.
3. Tires, shocks, brakes, exhaust, spare tire etc.
4. Battery date
6. Two keys, manual (Dealers like to strip these out to resell)
7. Service records, accidents
8. Although low mileage, age plays a part in o-ring seals for any car. Look for leaks around the valve cover, power steering reservoir, brake vacuum pump, etc
9. During test drive, check for any turbo lag and performance
10 Any cooling water leak under water pump.(Big job)
If you are not familiar with 93s then items which can cause a headache are:
Faulty CIM (column integration module), ECU (Emissions control module), or ISM (ignition module)
Used backup modules (programmed to your car if module needs it) and a TECH2 analyzer are invaluable.
