That a great temporary solution. The passenger side front window on my '03 9-3 Arc with only 37K miles did this. I'm thinking the years matter more than the mileage in this case. I was able to get the window to remain up just with the grip of the window weatherstrips. Will remove the door panel at some point and I believe it is the "trapeze" type of setup in this year rather than the green plastic piece in the older models.
