Straightening panels? Doesn't sound good....

...don't mean to scare you, I'm just EXTREMELY anal about my car. They dented a panel, and they are straightening it? My car is pristine, and I wouldn't like that idea. If they dented your door, for example, push for a whole new door, rather than having them straighten, and then smooth it with body filler. Thats a hack job.
I'd be pissed too, because no matter how good they fix it, its not original. At the very least, ask them to replace the damaged panels alltogether, not simply repair them. They damaged your car, you should be able to dictate to them how you want it fixed, not them.
What also bothers me is that they didn't tell you. They were going to try and fix it behind your back. Thats just plain shady. If you didn't find out, they were never going to tell you? You should know if your car is having body work done! What would have happened when it comes time to sell it, and you tell a customer that its never had body work because you were never told by the dealer?
