I have an 03 Arc and really enjoy it. Is it as solid as some other models (i.e. mercedes and BMW)? I don't think it as heavy and solid but I think it is a well built car. I see why Mal is unhappy. If he paid 40K for a Linear I would be upset too. You have to realize that this is a new model car and to expect a few hiccups. I have to agree it is new for the dealer as well. For example, I did have to get the information about the Tech II for them so they could program the fog lights to work when the DRL's were turned off. My Dealer in Minn. has been pretty good albeit I have not had any real problems with my car (knock wood). I think most people would be happy buying a saab. It's not often you can find a car that is peppy and can still get good gas mileage.
