I bought my 2000 9-5 Sedan (yes, I am BB hopping) from this Dealer. If my wife hadn't left with our other car while I was signing the papers, I probably would not be a Saab owner today! After finishing with the Salesman they took me to a "Closing Specialist" who was nothing more than an insurance salesperson. Tried to sell me all kinds of expensive added insurance packages (warranties mostly) in addition to the $30K+ for the car.
I finally told her, "If this car is so unrelaible that I need to buy an additional $4500 of warranty insurance above and beyond the factory warranty, then I don't want the damn car!" She shut off her sales speal at that point.
Their Service Dept is questionable in my opinion. Numerous portions of the "FREE" 30K service were not performed. They seem clueless of TSB's - specifically the noisy dash fascia chitter, and the October 2003 PCV repair, even when my complaints regarding these issues were submitted on Service write-ups only a month after each TSB was issued.
My Wife's co-worker owns a Cadillac Catera which has spent more time in Goodman's Service Dept than in her own garage - well, not quite, but it is in almost monthly. They have not proven themselves capable of effectively repairing that car.
I suspect they have only one certified Saab Technician on premises, but it is a suspician only.
A shining example of why people don't trust Dealerships. They may not be unscrupulous crooks, but they don't try to prove themselves honest either.
