I'm not sure if your looking for new or used....

In anycase out of the 5 Saab's I've owned I've serviced at most Toronto dealers. Lakeshore, Midtown, Thornhill and the one near Pickering. Lakeshore was good, Midtown was ok and Thornhill was a disaster. Not trying to be overly negative, but thats how I see it. Of recent, Thornhill's wonderous bodyshop totally botched up a minor job (incident no.3), when my CSE was returned one rear mudflap wasn't secured, overspray everywhere, paint on the trim and missing hardware. The other big muck-up was with the actual service department....I won't get into it.

I have since resorted to Leggat Saab (where I serviced my first Saab, an 1986 900 Sport) but a bit of a hike from Toronto. If I'm doing my own "accessory install" or tune-up I use Midtown as they are close to home and the parts-guy is very knowledgable.

My current 9-3 was bought at Beacon Motors. (bought 3 of my Saabs here)They are located in Etobicoke and have been in business for a long time. Rick the owner is patient and does good work using only Saab parts. A good alternative to the dealer. He has got everything from an 02 Viggen and Aero wagon to c900's hitting the early 80's.

Wow what a lengthy email. TO conclude, I use the dealer to pickup parts for my own projects (roof rack, nose strip etc) otherwise I visit Beacon. Leggat is good but a little to far...they do have courtesy cars though. I think its important to build a relationship with one place, then they know your car and you. This will help.

okok enough, hope this helps.
