Just a follow up on what has happened since I posted on August 30th. I contacted SaabUSA and they said they would find out from the dealer what the situation is and get back to me. I received a call from SaabUSA today and they said the dealer would be happy to look at the problem (door panel missing center bracket after they replaced the panel and scratch in paint after the removed the trunk emblem, and denied scratching it). Well now I have to set up an appointment and take the morning off of work to go to the dealer and have them say what? I have asked the owner of the dealership to provide me with the service bulletin stating the bracket isn't needed, we'll see what happens there. The paint scratch needs to be sprayed, but I am a bit shakey about leaving my car with them, ya' never know what they'll do. Anyway, I thought SaabUSA would be more helpful, like at least have the regional rep meet me at the dealership so they can hear what is said. I am not impressed with SaabUSA customer assistance and losing faith in dealers in Rhode Island one by one.
I'll post what happens at the dealership
