If you are speaking of the metal-like letters on the back of the car it is simple. Heat up the letters with a hair dryer. After getting them good and warm/hot, take a piece of dental floss and saw back and forth behind the letters. Once the letters are removed, use one of those citrus based goo removers to clean up the area.
Hair dryers can also bee used to warm up and peel off stripes and stickers. So if you don't like a dealer's name on the back of the car, heat up the vynal letters and then peel them off.
