Caliber off ??

Randy,
a.0) If your trying to get the caliber off and the pads won't budge (make
sure you do step b. below first. You can bang at it with a screw
driver but perhaps you need to get the caliber off with the pads still
rusted in?
a.) Take the caliber off. You not need to touch the fluid line but use
a paint can to rest the caliber on.
b.) Unscrew the resevoir cap under the hood. Stick a rag underneath it
to catch a fluid.. This should relieve any pressure to the piston.
c.) Use a clamp with pieces of wood on the piston if needed.
I know I destroyed some of my pads with a screw driver first to get them
out...they were extremely rust bound.
