When you drive a competitive MB, BMW, Audi, Volvo and Jag back to back with a 9-3SS you'll be pleasantly surprised. Have you felt the competition when you stick it hard into a corner?
I urge you try it at the GM Proving Grounds or the next Saab Proving Grounds. A 9-3SS is the best handling, best riding car in the segment with the highest cornering limits, the most room, excellent affordability, unmatched exclusivity and above average reliability.
Not to mention the latest "Double Best Pick" safety award.
True all of the others offer super hype versions, M3, AMG, S4, R and S models, and some of the standard models seem to advertise more horsepower, but a 210hp 2.0T is again very competitive, beating both the Audi V6 and the MBZ V6 in acceleration in the latest convertible camparison road test. Have you felt how weak some of the V6's are in the lower midrange?
Bashing Saab for no AWD and no super output version doesn't really reflect the segment as some of the best choices are 2WD and be a little patient and we'll have the 250hp you deserve.
