I do not know for sure, but I would have to guess yes it does. It is not a Saab/GM part. It is made by an independent engineer. It has been tested and shown that it works just fine, but I don't think it is a Saab "approved" item and will therfore it would be very easy for the dealer to claim it voids your warranty. I would ask this question to Jim Uhl and Saab USA.
All that said, I installed a Triad in my car. It works fine. If I ever have a warranty issue with the radio/Onstar I would remove it and reinstall it later. This could be done in a manner that the technician would likely not know that the Triad was ever there... (Not a simple task but I have done it many times and doubt it would take very long.)
If the dealer was to disclaim liability on a warranty issue because of the Triad, I believe the burden of proof rests on his end to prove that hte Triad caused the problem. As long as it didn't you should be OK. If it did, you are SOL. It would be a bit of a fight and might not be easier than just removing and reinstalling.
