This is one of those things that everyone is going to give you a different answer. The fact of the matter is that the Dino oil is certified to the minimum requirements for the car (API rating). If the car has always had dino oil in it, then keep using it. Synth oil is certified to the same standards, but *may* have better lubricating and longevity than the dino oil. I personally use Mobil-1 from day one, but that is just my opinion. What is more important than which type of oil you use is the change interval. Leave that rediculous 10k interval behind and do it every 3k, it may cost a bit more, but is worth it in the long run!
