Everything on the dashboard lit up

Weird experience--any suggestions as to what it could be?
I was cruising at 70 mph or so when all of a sudden every light on the dashboard went on--looked like more than I'd ever seen, from check engine to TCS Off. All of them. Were on for one or two seconds, then all went off. Car never lost power, but the trip meter was back to zero and the mpgs reverted to what they were at startup, etc.
Background: New battery yesterday; two blown windsheild wiper fuses in past 2 months. Car running fine otherwise.
2000 2.3 lpt wagon, 68k mi.
Thanks in advance.
