Don't do it...

I bought a lemon 9-5, and well, it was a lemon. Lots of problems. When I bought it, dealer (a Saab dealer) disclosed to me that it was a lemon, claimed it had all been taken care of. Implied that it was declared a lemon more to satisfy a customer than due to the car being out of service for a long period of time. Also implied that the title would be clean once I re-registered it. I was led to believe (stupidity on my part) that the lemon designation would not show up for subsequent registrations. That, combined with an incredible deal, led me to buy the car.
Big mistake. Once a lemon, always a lemon. Insult to injury was when I traded it in, the dealer came back to me and said "Uh-oh, did you know this car was a lemon?" Of course, that made the already atrocious resale on that 9-5 even more atrocious.
However- I worked out a killer deal on a new 9-5 wagon (ex-loaner), they threw in CPO for good measure, and I walked out a happy Saab customer.
Moral of the story for me was: Buy Saabs, don't buy lemons!
Good luck.
