Ride quality is so subjective. This depends on the suspension, i.e., Aero, non-Aero, or aftermarket. Even little things like tire choice and air pressure can cause variations. I find the 17” Rossos crisper but joltier in my Aero. The 16” WRs never lose grip, but are smoother. They are slower to transition, but then they are not summer tires. Stomp on the brakes and they really shine. NY pavement is darn near third world so you can take a beating with the 17s. I don’t know how people drive around NY with 18s or 19s. I am curious how an Arc with 17s would compare to an Aero with 16s, using the same tire. I found the Arc loaner with 16s to be a little unsettled in some situations, but this may be the P6 rubber.
