9-5 wagon modification: hatch unlocking with doors?

I am thinking about changing the way the hatch door is locked/unlocked. I would like to be able to lock/unlock all the doors at once with a single button. Also, I would like the hatch to stay unlocked at any speed. Did anyone try to do this?
I am thinking about wiring the hatch lock in parallel with one of the non-driver door locks. This will require just splicing some wires at the TWICE computer under the drivers seat (30 minute job?)
Any comments/suggestions are welcome.
P.S. It would be nice if such an option would be available in software but for some reason it is not.
