I am sorry if my origanal message was confusing. It was my current Yokohama set that is directional. I gave up on the Pirelli brand since I got the cupping issue with both sets of them, even when I did cross-rotation evry other time, but I did not do it at the 5k interval that is being recommended to me now, it was around every 10k. I will go back to asymmetrical tires this time now that I am aware of this issue. I guess I will also have to rotate, precision balance, and check alignment on each and every 5k oil change and hope that helps or get a different car! I am just wondering if the alignment specs can be tweeked to help eliminate this problem?
