My 03 Aero is on the 4th. set of tires after 82k. All previous had premature tire wear from inside cupping due to alignment specs. I had always ran the tires at the recommended 36psi which is what is on my door label. My Saab mechanic suggested that I try it at 42psi along with a 5k modified cross-rotaion schedule. The extra psi delivers more of the middle tread to the road surface which helps minimize the inside edge wear. I just rotated my new set of Kuhmo ASXs and they had no uneven wear after the first 3k. Still a bit soon to tell, but the max psi for these tires is 51psi, so there is some wiggle room here. The higher psi does feel a bit harsher, but so does buying a new set of tires every 20K or less!
