I don't understand when people say that auto journalists somehow "suck-up" to BMW. Do they think there is a conspirancy among the journalistic kabal all over the world to push BMWs? if so, why don't they bother to explain what the purpose would be and how it would be achieved?
Perhaps there is a simple explanations. Perhaps the BMWs are the best driving machines, all other things being equal, and the professionals in the business of testing cars just seem to recognize and agree on that, be it in US, UK, Indonesia or Kongo.
I own a BMW and a Saab and there is no question BMW is a much better driving car and not just compared to Saab but any other 4 and most 2 door cars. Having said that I like my Saab a lot too, that's why I bought it. And I think it's a lot better and interesting car than any Maximima ever will be.
