Jeff:
If your camber is out so much as to wear tires in 10,000 miles, your handling and steering stability MUST be terrible. I can tell from how my car pulls under accel. over uneven roads if the camber is not equal side-side with 1 degree! How is your steering? No pulling to one side? What are your camber readings now... have they been confirmed as way off spec? Has your car be modified with lowering springs? That can result in such camber problems.
If BOTH tires are wearing on the inside, the camber must be off so that the wheels lean inward at the top. Is there a noticeable leaning inward of your wheels? Another possibility is that the toe-in is way off which could scrub rubber off the inside edges as the tires scuff down the road. That IS easily adjusted at the tie rods.
If truly camber problem, the service data says to replace the components that cause the camber to be off. Maybe bushings, bent control arm or subframe damage etc. If it's off but close, one thing you can do is have the strut to hub assembly top bolt holes enlarged to allow the "tilting" of the hub to be adjusted when the strut bolts are loosened. The better way is to by an Eibach camber bolt set (Tirerack.com has these) However, they only allow +/- 1 degree adjustment as I recall.
My 1999 SE V6 is just at the edge of spec and with rotation every 10,000 miles, my tires have 35,000 miles on them and look evenly worn.
