I am a little confused on what exactly you are trying to compare...
It sounds more like you are stating that a Saab's status isnt anywhere close to that of a BMW or Benz. What about a Benz make it uncomparable to that of a Saab. Althought Benz and BMW make $120k cars they still also make cars for under $30k too. Thier entry level luxury cars are the C-class and 3-series which both start under $29k and directly compete with the Saab 9-3. Their mid-luxury cars are the E-class and 5-series, and although more $, are both in the same class as the Saab 9-5. If you check JD Power and Assoc.('01-'02) Saab actually won 1st in the mid-luxury class and beat both the 5-series and the E-class on the intitial quality study!
The only thing that is not even close is the $$$
So to say that Saab is more like an Acura than a BMW or Benz is like saying a Benz is more like a Chrysler that an Audi...
