Why bash Roadside Assistance or GM in this case? I can understand if you had to wait hours for the tow truck or if the car never got delivered to the dealer, but you called for a tow, they apparently promptly dispatched a tow truck, and he apparently promptly delivered the car to your dealer. Your dealer's the one who screwed up, but even so, you got the car back the same day. That's the nature of warranty work - it's free but it's a little time consuming. You do have a legitimate gripe about the life of these batteries, though. Mine went exactly on the car's third anniversary. I don't recall ever having a battery go that fast, even in the '60's.
