I don't know the specific model numbers on the faulty DI cassettes, but the reason they said yours didn't qualify was because you had a new one put in a while ago. This new one is probably an updated version than the one which came originally in your car and does not fall under the recall. On my car, which is a V6, there are 2 DI cassettes, and one failed a while ago and was replaced by the previous owner out of pocket. After I got the car we took it in and they replaced the other DI cassette along with the catalytic converter ($1800) which the failure destroyed. The recall worked out well for me. If you had to pay to have your DI cassete replaced rather than having it done under warranty you could have sent in the paper work and receipts and gotten your money back.
