Some fault in the fuel system probably triggered the limp home function to kick in, in the electronic throttle body, so now the problem needs to be found and corrected and then the fault codes reset and then the mechanical limp home function on throttle needs to be reset.
If that's what happened, the throttle linkage will NOT reset itself even if the real initial problem is found and repaired.
You need to find a Saab shop with the Tech 2 scanner to read the codes and by that figure out what happened.
Or if you are lucky, maybe find a general repair shop where they can read the codes, reset them and by help of this photo, reset the throttle linkage.
