Mileage depends entirely on you and the kind of tires. No one can predict when the tires will be used up. Driving style plays a major part and the hardness of the rubber compound is also a big factor. Look on the sidewall and you will see the manufacturer's ratings for the tire. TireRack has an explanation of what they mean. Basically, A is better, and for bigger the treadwear number, the longer the tire will (probably) last.
Maybe you are not aware that most tires have wear indicators. They are raised portions of rubber between the tread blocks. When they become flush with the surrounding tread the tire is considered no longer usable.
However, uneven tread wear, due to wrong inflation, alignment problems, or failing to rotate the wheels front to back, will usually force the tires to the scrap heap before the wear bars are showing evenly across the width of the tire.
Some of the Blizzacks are "worn out" at half tread depth - they have a dual rubber compund. The outer half is the special winter compound. When that has worn off, all that is left is an All-Season compound. This is the main reason I won't use Blizzacks.
If you want to learn more, there is plenty of tire info available if you do a Web search and look at the tire sites.
