Looks like the tensioner pulley failed in my wife's 00 9-5 wagon and shreaded the belt which has less 1,000 miles on it since we had the engine pulled to replace the timing cover. They didn't replace any pulleys (even though I asked them to replace the tensioner pulley which I even provided them).
I am guessing they will say the pulley failed so it is not their fault which may be in fact correct. I'm wondering if perhpas they put incorrect tension on the new belt they installed which might have led to this failure. Now I am searching for parts on a holiday! Ugh!
