Midnight Blue Metallic (more)

I am torn between Black and Midnight Blue for my (future) 9-5 Aero Wagon. I have never seen this blue color in person - is it similar to the Audi/ VW pearlescent dark blue? Audi calls it Santorin Blue, and it is drop dead gorgeous. My wife has an A4 in this color, and it never fails to turn heads.
I am reluctant to order a car with a $450 USD paint option without seeing the color first hand.
I want a dark color to minimize the visual impact of the hood line and the C pillar on the Wagon, which I think are the only weak parts of the design. I think with dark tinted windows, either color would help do that nicely.
Any comments? Thanks.
