Mine is a 2000 9-5 Aero with 262K miles on it. I haven't had a single extraordinary failure.
The two more recent failures AFTER 250K miles were the ABS computer, and the cabin ventilation fan motor.
And yes, I did see some wear items between 100K and 200K miles...struts, rear shocks, first set of front pads and rotors, and the catalytic converter.
In conclusion...this 9-5 is proving to be rock solid reliable, and inexpensive to own on a per mile basis.
