G009 great tire, but not for all season

Have the Potenza G009 as the summer set. Very happy with these on wet / dry / and for overall wear. Use Goodyear Ultragrips (after learning MN State Patrol throws those on their cars) for winter. Taking the winter tires off a few weeks early left me shaky at best in March of this year on the Bridgestones. Wouldn't recommend those on snow. One additional detail is that my G009s are lower profile 225/45/17". Not sure how 16" version of these perform.
