I bought the SAAB Akebono pads for our 2002 Aero which are now OEM and they are ceramic. They also work great! I used to use the wheel color to know when to wash the car. Now it gets washed much less often. :(
I DID hear that ceramic pads can wear down rotors more quickly but if they're OAM I don't see a problem. I'd rather replace rotors every two years if that means my wheels stay clean in the interrum. :)
