Rear end on the wagon is not at all appealing to me. It looks like a Dodge wagon. Especially in how the windows taper. I also agree with the other posts, the overall image tries to call too much attention to itself. Great styling can't call attention to itself. These pictures imply that the 9-5 is to cross the line into gimmickry from self-contained style. The visual cues are to the extreme as if it were a cartoon rendition of a Saab.
The mechanics of the new 9-5 are appealing. I like a bit more interior room so three car seats can easily install. But overall, if these pictures are true to the real 9-5, it will be tough to overlook the styling and buy one.
