I just did this recently, but I forgot the exact procedure. The following is th best recollection I have, if it is not sufficient post back and I will look at the car and give a better explination. The first thing I would check before resetting the lens alignment is that the bulb is seated correctly. If it is and an alignment is needed here is my best recollection:
1) Open the hood.
2) Get a 1/4" drive handle with an extension on it and a small socket (Maybe 8mm, but I don't remember off hand)
3) Look for a round hole in the sheet metal just behind the lens. If you look down the hole you should see a small white plastic hex head. Turning one way makes the beam go up, the other way makes it go down. You basically put your tool through the hole and turn the white nut. (no sexual reference there)
4) There are small levels inside the headlight. I set the lens I replaced (stone damage) to the same level as the untouched lens. (Which was not inbetween the two red lines because I guess my garage floor is not perfectly level...) I also verified the setting by shining the headlights on the garage wall and making sure they were even.
5) If the left/right alignment needs to be adjusted, there is another adjustment. It is labeled L R and has arrows pointing you in the direction it needs to be turned. I forgot if it was a torx or phillips head for that fastener.
