If you want to put one in your current Saab, the only things available are the units that use an RF converter to play on your current HK audio system via an unused frequency on the FM band.
If you read that article in Popular Science that featured an XM radio in a Saab, this was exactly the setup they used.
I have seen one of the units mounted in the little cubby at the bottom of the center dash for a fairly neat installation. The OnStar antenna cannot be used for XM.
