The module was made by Lucas in England. Lucas is NOT known for great electrical products. The other known fact about these modules is that they develop water leaks and the start going off by themselves as the circuitry has shorts from corrosion making a false alarm occur. This cannot be repaired easily. I experienced this on my 9-5 and ended up replacing the module. As well as the module being made by a company with the worse reputation as a producer of automotive electrics, Saab saw fit to place it in an area that gets lots of exposure to water -- in front of the left front wheel well. Just replace it !!
