Update on 2002 9-5 (visited my dealer today)

For those of you who have been worried about certain changes, etc. for 2002 9-5s, I visited my dealer today and saw several sedans and two wagons and picked up the new brochures.
The Linear comes standard with wood dash (not the ugly stainless steel) and leather (not combo leather and textile) and front heated seats-rear is optional as is ESP and a slightly different premium package.
The Arc now not only has standard perforated leather w/ventilation seats, but also ESP and front and rear heated seats. The pricing is actually better this year than last-at least w/ the V6. The 2002 Arc wagon w/the above mentioned standard equipment plus bixenon lights, speed sensitive wipers, and parking assist(pricing avail. though not avail. 'til later in the model year)is only $300 more than the cost of my 2001 wagon without ventilated seats, ESP, bixenon, speed sensitive wipers, and parking assist. That seems like an exceptional value to me as the ventilated seats alone would have added $995 to my car and priced it above the 2002 without all the other stuff.
As far as looks, I like the back end better (neater looking), but was surprised how much I didn't like the front end (particularly grill area). In photos I had seen, I liked it, but in reality, it makes the car look cheaper (virtually no chrome) and more generic-but that is just my opinion, I'm sure others will differ.
