I can remember the deal 100% but the nut broke off the botton(part that goes through the a arm) of my brothers when we were changing the clutch. If I remember to change it you just jack up the car. Take the tire off. Remove the lower nut and upper nut. Remove and put back on new one. Not sure of the torce values though. Have to check haynes. Should not need alignment for this. If it was the tie rod you would.
