Well I have a 9-5 but since I am not an exclusive Saab devotee when it comes to my cars I think it is ok to offer opinions on more than just a Saab.
When it comes to Saabs - - I think it is hard to think one can be a snob in a new Saab when so many people are just buying them for low lease rates. I find that strategy a good way of dilluting the brand by eroding the demographic base of it drivers.
I compared the Saab 9-5 to the A4 because spending time in both of them I don't see the huge difference in the size - - but then again I tend not to drive the 9-5 from the back seat.
Of course I would never compare the new A4 to the the 9-3 = = even I couldn't be that cruel and unfair in a comparison.
From my perspective - - and this is after looking at the new front of the Saab 9-5 in person - - I am starting to think that Saab will soon represent the best of what GM can build by combining the best parts from it various brand bins & style centers.
I must also concur that the color of the wood on the new interior had to be selected by someone with de-tached retinas. Looks like it belongs in a conversion van.
And before you blow a gasket just remember - - it just cars we are talking about . . .
