I replaced my front rotors about two months ago...

After I did the work I got a vibration in the steering wheel both at highway speed and when I apply the brakes.

One thing to note is that when I took off th front wheels there was a great deal of corrosing and I had to bang the rim with a rubber mallet for about five minutes before it finally let go.

I originally thought that one of the new rotors I put on was warped.

Then about two weeks ago I had new tires put on my car and the shop did an alignment and balance and now the vibration is almost gone with the exception of when I hit the brakes at around 40 mph. I also get a small vibration when I am on the highway.

Any thoughts on what this problem could be?
