My 2000 9-5 Aero has survived tire wear well by following two items:
1. Keep inflated in the mid 40's (cold) Previous post is correct as it will keep wear more to the middle. My current Conti's can handle inflation up to 51 psi.
2. Rotate consistently (every 5K) AND when rotating, have front tires rotated directly to the back, but have the back tires cross rotated tothe front, i.e., rear right goes to front left (drivers side). Left rear goes to right front, (passenger side).
