I think $15,000 is not bad, consiedring it's low mileage.
Is warranty still valid? If not, go through the car very carefully. I would pop the valve cover off to confirm no sludge build-up at least.
I got a 03 Linear SW with 41K miles, and just within 1 month for factory warranty to expire, had following replaced:
1) Fuel tank, broken buffle plate causing gauge reading up and down.
2) Abs pressure/ temp sensor
3) SID, dead pixels (common)
4) Updated PCV
5) A sunvisor, could not stay up.
6) Stereo head, CD no eject/ rattle (waiting backorder)
7) Battery
8) Rear seatbelt, was sticking.
9) Cargo divider net latch, plastic anchor broken.
10) Lug bolts, corrosion campaign
11) New plugs, CEL read misfiring
Front pads/ rotors and OEM tires could be fairly worn over 20,000 miles. I replaced them around 25,000 miles.
You could find other 03 cars off lease with CPO at about the same price, even though more likely around 40-50K miles on the clock (not really an issue with SAAB's in my opinion.) GMAC offers low 4.9%/ 60 months loan with CPO, makes sense unless you pay cash.
Sorry not sure about differences from 2004 (you should know if you see 03 though.)
