Or how about an alternative...

I had been waiting for the AudioTroll, but I received a Harman Kardon drive and play as a gift. I had tried the cassette adapter route, which was fine but song browsing was very kludgy. I was going to wait for the AudioTroll, but the interface of the D+P really intrigued me.
So I installed the Drive and Play, it took me a bit because I wanted to be careful. Mounted the LCD screen with double sided sticky tape on the center vent (will come up with more elegant mount as time permits, too afraid to cut out and fit the LCD into the vent) routed the cable through the vent, I just had to expand one of the vent holes ever so slightly. The control pod sits (again double sided stick tape) in between the shifter, unlock button, and the handbrake lever. The brain and ipod go into the center console, and i get power from the rear cig. lighter socket. I went the wired FM modulator rout, (there is a specific HK unit, target.com has it cheap), which of course meant I needed to buy the two antenna adapters 40VW10 and 40VW20 or the kit which is I think 40vw30.
Sound is good, I have a variety of MP3’s and there is an appreciable difference between the 128 bit and 320 bit ones.
While the AudioTroll will probably sound better, I like the control over my songs that I have with this setup, I can browse by Album, Artists, Genre, etc. I only have 3 GB of music on my ipod and I find myself browsing through it pretty often…
Thanks,
-Luis
