I've got an '04 9-5 that will be coming off lease early '08. I saw that a 2008 9-5 would have AWD (someone posted the article with the sleek new design here a while ago). It said it was looking to be out by autumn '08 -- which would be bad timing for me, but better than never, because I've decided my next sedan will absolutely be an AWD. (I've got an AWD MB SUV).

Anyone know if this car is still 'on target' to come out as an AWD? I could probably extend my lease or get into something for a short time if it wasn't too long a wait. This is my 2nd Saab, so I'd kinda like to stay with them -- even though before getting into the '04 I swore I wouldn't go with them unless they came out with a 7 series (and instead just got a bigger 2nd car) -- but this time I'm not gonna settle --I like the feel of AWD on the MB, even though I know it is really RWD most of the time -- and don't want to 'settle' again if Saab just doesn't have what I really want!
