'03 Aero AT 2-3 shift hesitation

Before I could even get around to posting pics of my new (to me) Aero (I have named him "Thor"), I've got a bug to report! There seems to be a hesitation in the auto trans shift from 2-3 (less so 1-2 and 3-4), particularly during slow acceleration. It's nothing dramatic, but definitely noticable (more so now that I'm paying attention).
This is my first AT car, so I'm not sure what to expect. I found some posts here re: similar issues, along with the TSB (44-2497) that Anders posted. Symptoms sound like #1 in that TSB. Is the brake B4 servo cover something I can inspect myself? Are there other diagnostics to try?
I've got 1500mi of warranty remaining to work it out. Plan to take the car to Anders sometime in the next few weeks for a full checkout before the warranty expires. Otherwise the car seems great. Dealer did a 50k service and checkout before I bought the car last week and found no issues (fixed a couple little things - sunroof deflector, rear door lightbulb).
Looking forward to many happy years of AEROing.
Cheers,
'Roo
