I actually have both a sun green and a steel grey ('01 9-5 sedans). It's evening here, so I can't run out and take any pictures (I actually think I've misplaced my digital camera anyway!)-- and I'm sure others will post them -- but IMHO: the steel grey with the charcoal interior is more sporty looking, while the sun green with the tan interior is a bit 'classier' looking. I think the grey shows the dirt a bit easier than the green, yet the tan interior gets dirtier looking than the charcoal. And I've had more women than men comment on the green as a 'nice' color, while the grey seems to attract the men's eye -- so take that for what it's worth. You also mention you want a lighter car -- I don't really consider the steel grey a light colored car -- I think the silver is lighter. Finally, there appear to be significantly fewer sun greens around - at least in my neck of the woods (NYC area) -- although you appear to be from the UK, where I would have no idea what colors are driving around!
