Won't start on the first try every morning...Strange? Posted by turrbo [Email] (#8) [Profile/Gallery] (more from turrbo) on Sun, 6 May 2007 17:39:34 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The '04 9-5 Arc my dad just bought has developed a problem. Every morning when he tries to start it, it won't start on the first or second try. As in, it cranks and cranks but won't start. After that, it starts fine, runs fine and will start fine every time for the rest of the day. Gas is 93 octane, just ran a bottle of Techron through it and there's no CEL or anything.
The car was just purchased maybe 3 weeks ago and is CPO, so it should have been totally gone over. As far as I can tell, no 30,000 service was performed except an oil change(it has 34,000), though I don't really know what the 30,000 service in the 9-5 entails. The dealer wouldn't give an IRIS (real a-holes), so I don't know yet what's been done to the car. (I'll get my dealer to print me one next time I have my 9000 in).
I've read about this in the BB, but no one posted a solution. I'm just looking for some info for when he gets it into the dealer. I kinda want this resolved, since it was me who convinced him to come back to Saab after a 10 year hiatus with MB.
Thanks!
