I have an '01 Aero with 6000 miles and the electrical system just went crazy on me. The power locks have always been a little spotty, but tonight within a 15 minute window, the doors refused to unlock while I was inside the car - by console switch or key remote, the On-Star system placed a phone call to who knows without my prompting (I just heard ringing all of a sudden and then a guy saying hello) and refused to hang up no matter how many times I tried to cancel it, AND the climate control system came on in blizzard mode not wanting to change. I suspect it is the ECM and the car is headed straight for the dealer, but I would love to know if anyone has ever had an experience like this or can offer me some insight to the problems cause.
