Happy New Year and a quick Question

I've had my 2001 9-5 SE for about a month now, and I have noticed upon occasion, that after I drive the car and I idle it b/4 I shut it down, sometimes after the I turn off the engine I will hear a low humm for a few seconds.. Does this mean I did not idle the engine long enough??? (being an old 900 & 9000 T owner I always would idle the engine for about 30 seconds to a minute after starting and shutting down).
Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again and happy new year!
