You can always just slap some epoxy on it and hope that holds it for a few years. Seems like two part marine epoxy works best on these tanks. On the 900 and 9000 models, that was the only epoxy that stuck to the polyethylene tanks, I dunno if the 9-5's is made out of the same stuff.
