The WIS for your model year (2001) shows the following.
System pressure when running: 40 PSI or 3.0 BAR
System pressure after 20 minutes: 33 PSI or 2.3 BAR
Ths can be tested easily at the fitting on the fuel rail. TURN THE ENGINE OFF WHILE CONNECTING OR DICONNECTING THE FUEL GAUGE. A small amount of fuel may escape while the test gauge hose connector is being attached. An effective fuel pressure test gauge is available from AutoZone and other sources....Actron Model CP7818.
After the car is started, a reading of 40 PSI should be observed. If the reading is way off (low) I'd replace the fuel filter first, then retest. If the reading is still very low either replace the fuel pump now or wait until you need to be towed.
