i had posted about hitting 115k and developing an oil leak by the chain plate cover on my 2000 aero 9.5
also,
the tranny went south
engine vibes and other
well , i decide to sell the car and the best i got was $ 5.0 so i decided to keep it ,fix it and give it to a relative.-
and buy an infinity.
unfortunately i did not get to drive the infinity until i went in for a service on my fx and they gave me a g37 for the day........great,great ,great car . better than the bmw 3 series and i like it better than the 5 series . more driver involvement and great steering feel .this is a great car.fun to drive . but the seat is noit that good on a long trip.
and , i said unfortunately because a week before i drove the infinity i went into a saab dealer and they had an 07 aero 9.5 ,new , 2 miles on the odometer ,60th anniversary edition with great seats ,for $13.0 up front with 15k per year and 27 month lease.
i had never leased before but on a saab i decided to.
and my wife likes the saab so i got it . i should have waited .
anyhow , as the story unfolds ,
i took the 2000 aero to a local mechanic who pointed out that the pvc valve had not been updated even thou the records show that the dealer did it . he did not . we replaced this with the updated one.
then , we replaced the neutral or the gear change indicator . all the above for $700.
and the front or is it side engine mount .....and the car is now like new again.
keep my fingers crossed on this one .
so now i have 2 saab aeros an 00 and a 07 and an invitaion to go to road atlanta for the academy.........
now , i have to sell a car or 2
